CrossFit Redding will be hosting the Throwdown by the River.
a three workout event that will focus on Constantly varied, Functional fitness executed at High intensity.

The Workouts were programmed by an outside source are meant to test your G.P.P. (General Physical Performance)
Workout 1:
For Time:
10minutes Time Cap.
20 Burpees
Object carry 25m
10 Deadlift-225/155lbs
Object carry 25m
20 Burpees

Standards:
Burpee's must be a chest and thigh to the floor to a jumping clap overhead. Arm must cover ear and torso must be vertical.
Carry as needed, object must be off the ground while in motion and if dropped, athlete must start where they last had control of the object.
Deadlift from the ground to a full erect standing posistion, hands may be mixed grip. Bar must be returned to the ground with no extra bounce.

50-40-30-20-10
Double Unders
Sit-up- (Anchored Feet)
Standards:
Double-Under rope must pass under athletes feet twice in a continuous motion. If athlete goes single then double; only the double will be counted.
Sit-ups will have feet anchored. The hands will touch the ground overhead and touch the dumbbells at which the feet are anchored. Ab-Mat may be used.

20 minute Time Cap
Run 1k
30 Thrusters 115/85lbs
Run 1k
Thruster must be a continuous driving movement to overhead, head must poke through fully extended arms to complete the rep, crease of the hip must be below the knee on the squat portion.
In addition to competitors, we will also need volunteers and judges.
We'll be running the Workouts in a Heat format that will seed the athletes according to their finishing times for each event.
