We had a great beginning to the week with some Overhead Squats. This movement will expose many weaknesses, but is a great tool to use as you develop as an athlete. All the infomercials on TV will have you believing that you have to buy their product to get a nice "CORE". We typically won't use that term; instead it is "Midline Stabilization". If you can't stabilize your spine with weight above you, how in the hell are you going to put a box on a top shelf?
Dan has been away for a few weeks, but is back with a vengeance.
We also had "HELEN" stop by to play. The 6am class deep in the battle!
Start them young; then lead by example!!! Great job on your run Lil' Jordan.
Speaking of starting young! Brian H. (center) has trained with us for a while now and over the weekend, he was voted MVP of the entire Basketball Tournament over on the coast. Congratulations Brian! You're hard work has paid off!
I've got a theory that if you give 100% all the time, somehow things will work out in the end.
