World-Class Fitness in a 100 Words

Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports.

REST DAY

Rest and relax while Team CFR is representing here in San Jose at the Nor-Cal Sectional.

We have a great crew here putting out 110% effort. Saturday was filled with amazing competition among CrossFitters from all over Nor-Cal. Although the workouts had short timeframes, they were brutal.

Here are the placings for Saturdays competition:

Women: Brittany 19th, Cully 28th, Tara 40th, Naomi 42nd, Hailee 51st.

Men: Jordan 12th, Kevin 67th, Cubby 115th, Todd 164th, Lance 240th.
