The CFR Kids program is designed for kids ages K-8 and includes games, races, obstacle courses and other fun activities! This program will help establish confidence and healthy habits as well as encourage the development of leadership skills through team building workouts. Kids will learn the fundamental movements that are the cornerstone of fitness and exercise, providing a solid foundation for a healthy future.

At CrossFit Redding, unlike the adult classes, we run our kids program in 6 to 8 week sessions.
The reason we do this is twofold:

  1. It allows the kids to commit to a specific amount of time that we can work on form and fitness and monitor progress, and
  2. Sessions mimic other “sports” that children participate in,

so they are more accustomed to that type of schedule and it allows for them to participate in both CrossFit and their other sports without loss of progress.
