How long have you been member? Since Nov 2009

Why CrossFit Redding?

It was recommended to me by my long time friend Lee James. It was at a time when the normal gym was boring me I really needed a change. I have  Degenerative hips and was looking for alternative ways not to replace my hips . In 2013 I did 2 rounds of PRP and that has help me with joint discomfort and mobility. Coaches at CrossFit Redding have been knowledgeable and work with me on my limitation while encouraging me to make progress.

What’s your favorite WOD or movement?

I really don’t have favorite nor do I hate any WOD’s it all a challenge and I enjoy the adrenaline rush I get before the workout and the feeling of accomplishment after.

What advice do you have for new member?

Don’t be intimidated everyone has to start somewhere and all the workouts are scalable. Always working hard to make gains, but stay within your ability. Everyone at CrossFit Redding  is supportive of ones strength and weaknesses.
